This department has designated a Departmental Access to Information Officer who is responsible for ensuring that requests for information under the Code on Access to Information are properly dealt with in accordance with the specified procedures.

2.        Requests for information on records held by the department may be made by letter or application form obtainable from the Reception Counter of the Lands Department, 21/F., North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong or by downloading from the departmental website. Applications should be addressed to :-

3.        The following information is available for public inspection at the Reception Counter of the Lands Department :-

(a)

Organisation Charts & Programme Areas (in English);

(b)

A list of record by category kept by the department (in English);

(c)

A list of information made available to the public free of charge or at a cost (in English);

(d)

A copy of the Code on Access to Information (in English and Chinese) and the Guidelines on Interpretation and Application (in English);

(e)

Notice on the procedures for making requests for access to information (in English); and

(f)

A set of administrative procedures for handling requests for information under the code (in English).

 

4.       Other than publications/information available free of charges or at a cost, the following photocopying charge will be levied :-

photocopying, black and white on A3 or A4 size paper

HK$1.00 per photocopy for A4 or A3 single-sided paper

HK$2.00 per photocopy for A4 or A3 double-sided paper

unless otherwise provided by enactment or approved by the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury.

(In this context, a document usually means a booklet, a report, or an enclosure in a file.)
