Three pre-sale consents issued in October

The Lands Department issued two
consents for the sale of 1,792 residential units and one consent for the
sale of uncompleted commercial development project in October, a spokesman
for the Department said today (November 4).
The two residential developments,
one located in Kowloon and the other one in Tsuen Wan, are estimated to be
completed between April 2005 and December 2005.
At the end of October 2004, there
were 15 applications for pre-sale consent pending approval, involving a
total of 10,418 residential units.
Among them, one application involving 1,576 residential
units is expected to be completed by 31 December 2004. Eight applications
involving 3,618 residential units are estimated to be completed in 2005.
The remaining six cases involving 5,224 residential units are estimated to
be completed by end of September 2006.
There were three applications for pre-sale consent for commercial
developments pending approval as at end of October 2004.
In addition, there were two applications for consent to assign
involving 1,650 residential units and two applications for consent to
assign for commercial developments pending approval.
Members of the public may obtain up to date information on
consents to sell residential units in uncompleted developments issued for
the last six months and cases pending approval as at the end of October
2004 by dialing Legal Advisory & Conveyancing Office's Hotline No. 2147
5475 or visiting the Department's website at www.info.gov.hk/landsd/.
The names of the developer, its parent company (if any), its
solicitors, authorized person (including the name of the firm), the main
superstructure contractor, the mortgagee bank (if any), the undertaking
bank (if any) and the financier (if any) in respect of individual
development are also available to the public in the form of reports
obtainable through the fax-on-demand facilities of the Hotline or the
Lands Department website.
