Two pre-sale consents issued in May

The Lands Department issued two
consents for the sale of 1,481 residential units in May, a spokesman for
the Department said today (June 4).
The two developments, located in the
New Territories and on Hong Kong Island, are estimated to be completed by
January 2005 and March 2005 respectively.
At the end of May 2004, there were
15 applications for pre-sale consent pending approval, involving a total
of 9,486 residential units.
Among these 15 applications, four
cases involving 1,709 residential units are expected to be completed
before December 2004 and six cases involving 5,309 residential units
before October 2005. The remaining five cases involving 2,468 residential
units are due to be completed by end of February 2006.
There were three applications for
consent to assign, involving commercial units, pending approval as at end
of May 2004.
Members of the public may obtain up
to date information on consents to sell residential units in uncompleted
developments issued for the last six months and cases pending approval as
at end of May 2004 by dialling the hotline 2147 5475 or visiting the Lands
Department website at www.info.gov.hk/landsd/.
The names of the developer, its
parent company (if any), its solicitors, authorised person (including the
name of the firm) and the mortgagee bank (if any) in respect of individual
development are also available to the public in the form of reports
obtainable through the fax-on-demand facilities of the hotline or the
Lands Department website.
