Two pre-sale consents issued in April

The Lands Department issued two
consents for the sale of 1,916 residential units in April, a spokesman for
the Department said today (May 6).
The two developments, located in
Kowloon and on Hong Kong Island, are estimated to be completed by June
2004 and December 2005 respectively.
At the end of April 2004, there were
16 applications for pre-sale consent, involving a total of 10,919
residential units, pending approval.
Among these 16 applications, three
cases involving 1,661 residential units are expected to be completed by
December 2004 and eight cases involving 6,790 residential units by October
2005. The remaining five cases involving 2,468 residential units are due
to be completed before February 2006.
There were three applications for
consent to assign, involving commercial units, pending approval as at end
of April 2004.
Members of the public may obtain up
to date information on consents to sell residential units in uncompleted
developments issued for the last six months and cases pending approval as
at end of April 2004 by dialling the hotline 2147 5475 or visiting the
Lands Department website at www.info.gov.hk/landsd/.
The names of the developer, its
parent company (if any), its solicitors, authorised person (including the
name of the firm) and the mortgagee bank (if any) in respect of individual
development are also available to the public in the form of reports
obtainable through the fax-on-demand facilities of the hotline or the
Lands Department website.
