Two pre-sale consents for commercial development issued in October

The Lands Department issued two pre-sale consents for commercial
development last month (October).
The two commercial projects, located in Kowloon and New Territories
respectively, are estimated to be completed by June 2004, a spokesman for
the department said today (November 6).
The department also issued one consent to assign involving 768 residential
units and one consent to assign for commercial development in October.
At the end of the month, there were 16 applications for pre-sale consent
involving a total of 9,417 residential units throughout the territory. All
of them are expected to be completed before October 2005. Meanwhile, there
were five applications for pre-sale consent involving commercial units in
Kowloon.
In addition, there were three applications for consent to assign involving
2,418 residential units and two applications for consent to assign for
commercial developments.

the Lands Department at 2147 5475 or visit its website at www.info.gov.hk/landsd/.
The names of the developer, its parent company (if any), solicitors firm
acting, authorized person (including the name of the firm) and the
mortgagee bank (if any) in respect of individual developments are also
available to the public in the form of reports obtainable through the
fax-on-demand facilities of the hotline or the Lands Department Website.
