Two pre-sale consents issued in July

The Lands Department issued two
consents for the sale of 1,624 residential units in two uncompleted
development projects last month (July).
The two residential projects,
located in Kowloon and the New Territories, are estimated to be completed
in January 2005 and December 2004 respectively, a spokesman for the
department said today (August 6).
At the end of July, there were 17
applications for pre-sale consent involving a total of 9,060 residential
units throughout the territory. All of them are expected to be completed
before April 2005. There are five applications for pre-sale consent
involving commercial units in Kowloon and West Kowloon Reclamation pending
for approval.
In addition, there were five
applications for consent to assign involving 4,868 residential units and
two applications for consent to assign for commercial developments.

consents, members of the public can call the Lands Department at 2147 5475
or visit its website at www.info.gov.hk/landsd/.
The names of the developer, its
parent company (if any), solicitors firm acting, Authorized Person
(including the name of the firm) and the Mortgagee Bank (if any) in
respect of individual developments are also available to the public in the
form of reports obtainable through the fax-on-demand facilities of the
hotline or the Lands Department Website.
