Five pre-sale consents issued in May

        The Lands Department issued five consents for the sale of 2,792 residential units in uncompleted development projects last month (May).

        The residential units, located throughout the territory, are estimated to be completed before November 2004, a spokesman for the department said today (June 6).

        The department also issued two consents to assign for 2,548 residential units in May 2003.

        At the end of May, there were 16 applications for pre-sale consent involving a total of 9,918 residential units expected to be completed before January 2005. There were three applications for pre-sale consent involving commercial units in West Kowloon Reclamation.

        In addition, there were two applications for consent to assign involving 2,944 residential units.
