Two pre-sale consents issued in March

        The Lands Department issued two consents for the sale of 1,513 residential units in two uncompleted development projects last month (March).

        The two residential projects, located in Kowloon and on Lantau, are estimated to be completed in August 2004 and September 2004 respectively, a spokesman for the department said today (April 7).

        The department also issued one pre-sale consent for four commercial units and four consents to assign for 4,331 residential units in March 2003.

        At the end of March, there were 19 applications for pre-sale consent involving a total of 9,839 residential units throughout Hong Kong and three applications for pre-sale consent involving commercial units in West Kowloon Reclamation. The units are expected to be completed before March 2009.

        In addition, there were three applications for consent to assign involving 4,308 residential units.
