Six pre-sale consents issued in October

The Lands Department issued six consents for the sale of 5,800 residential units in uncompleted development projects last month (October).

The residential units throughout Hong Kong are estimated to be completed between June 2003 and April 2004, a spokesman for the Department said today (November 6).

At the end of October, there were 22 applications for pre-sale consent involving a total of 18,050 residential units throughout Hong Kong. The units are expected to be completed between August 2002 and September 2004.

In addition, there was one application for pre-sale consent concerning commercial developments.

There were also seven applications for consent to assign involving residential units and one other involving commercial units.
