Lands Department - Pre-sale Consents

Eleven pre-sale consents issued in August

The Lands Department issued eleven consents for the sale of 7,880 residential units in uncompleted development projects last month (August).

The residential units throughout Hong Kong are estimated to be completed between November 2002 and March 2004, a spokesman for the Department said today (September 5).

At the end of August, there were 22 applications for pre-sale consent involving a total of 18,225 residential units throughout Hong Kong. The units are expected to be completed between August 2002 and June 2004.

In addition, there were five applications for pre-sale consent concerning commercial developments.

There were also four applications for consent to assign involving residential units and one other involving commercial units.
