Lands Department - Pre-sale Consents

Three pre-sale consents issued in July

The Lands Department issued three consents for the sale of 1,724 residential units in uncompleted development projects last month (July).

The residential units located in Cheung Sha Wan, Sheung Shui and Tuen Mun are estimated to be completed between May 2003 and March 2004, a spokesman for the Department said today (August 6).

At the end of July, there were 31 applications for pre-sale consent involving a total of 25,460 residential units throughout Hong Kong. The units are expected to be completed between August 2002 and June 2004.

In addition, there were six applications for pre-sale consent concerning commercial developments.

There were also five applications for consent to assign involving residential units and one other involving commercial units.
