Lands Department - Pre-sale Consents

Eight pre-sale consents issued in May

The Lands Department issued six consents for the sale of 3,624 residential units and two consents for the sale of eight commercial units in uncompleted development projects last month (May).

The residential units, located in Cheung Sha Wan, Sha Tin, Sai Kung and Tsuen Wan, are estimated to be completed between June 2002 and December 2003, a spokesman for the Department said today (June 6).

The department also issued one consent to assign for 1,536 residential units in May.

At the end of May, there were 25 applications for pre-sale consent involving a total of 22,399 residential units across the SAR. The units are expected to be completed between June 2002 and March 2004.

In addition, there were five applications for pre-sale consent concerning commercial developments.

There were also three applications for consent to assign involving residential units and one application for consent to assign involving commercial units.
