Lands Department - Pre-sale Consents

Four pre-sale consents issued in April

The Lands Department issued four consents for the sale of 4,122 residential units in uncompleted development projects last month (April).

The residential units, located in Kowloon and Yuen Long are estimated to be completed between December 2002 and November 2003, a spokesman for the Department said today (May 7).

The department also issued one consent to assign for three commercial units in April.

At the end of April, there were 26 applications for pre-sale consent involving a total of 22,596 residential units across the SAR. The units are expected to be completed between June 2002 and December 2003.

In addition, there were seven applications for pre-sale consent concerning commercial developments.

There were also four applications for consent to assign involving residential units and one application for consent to assign involving commercial units.
