Four pre-sale consents issued in January

The Lands Department issued four consents for the sale of 1,487 residential units in uncompleted development projects last month (January).

The projects, located on Hong Kong Island and in Kowloon and the New Territories, are estimated to be completed in between November 2002 and August 2003, a spokesman for the Department said today (February 6).

The department also issued one consent to assign for 16 residential units on Hong Kong Island in January. The units are estimated to be completed by April this year.

At the end of January, there were 17 applications for pre-sale consent involving a total of 15,491 residential units across the SAR. The units are expected to be completed between March 2002 and December 2003.

In addition, there were five applications for pre-sale consent concerning commercial developments in Kowloon and the New Territories.

There was also one application for consent to assign involving a residential project with 1,312 units in West Kowloon Reclamation area.
