Three pre-sale consents issued in December

The Lands Department issued three pre-sale consents for the sale of 5,954 residential units in uncompleted development projects last month (December).

The projects across the SAR are estimated to be completed between October 2002 and May 2003, a spokesman for the department said today (January 7).

As at the end of December, there were 17 applications for pre-sale consent involving a total of 13,066 residential units across the SAR. The units are expected to be completed between November 2001 and December 2003.

In addition, there were five applications for pre-sale consent concerning commercial developments in Kowloon and the New Territories.

Applications for consent to assign being processed included two residential projects involving a total of 801 units on Hong Kong Island and in Kowloon.
