Three pre-sale consents issued in October

The Lands Department issued three pre-sale consents for the sale of 2,981 residential units in uncompleted development projects last month (October).
The projects, located in Kowloon and Yuen Long, are estimated to be completed between December 2001 and December 2002, a spokesman for the department said today (November 6).
As at the end of October, there were 19 applications for pre-sale consent involving a total of 15,103 residential units across the SAR. The units are expected to be completed between November 2001 and June 2004.
In addition, there were three applications for pre-sale consent concerning commercial developments on Hong Kong Island and in Kowloon.
Applications for consent to assign being processed included a residential project involving a total of 1,377 units in Kowloon.
