Two pre-sale consents issued in August

The Lands Department issued two pre-sale consents for the sale of 141 residential units in uncompleted development projects last month (August).

The projects, located in North Point and Yuen Long, are estimated to be completed in January and June 2003 respectively, a spokesman for the department said today (September 6).

The department also issued one consent to assign for a residential development involving 424 units in Sai Kung in August.

As at the end of August, there were 20 applications for pre-sale consent involving a total of 15,180 residential units across the SAR. The units are expected to be completed between September 2001 and June 2004.

In addition, there were seven applications for pre-sale consent concerning commercial developments on Hong Kong Island and in Kowloon.
