Four pre-sale consents issued in January

The Lands Department issued four consents for the sale of 3,344 residential units in four uncompleted development projects last month (January).

The projects, located in Kowloon and the New Territories, are estimated to be completed in between September 2001 and August 2002, a spokesman for the Department said today (February 6).

At the end of January, there were 17 applications for pre-sale consent involving a total of 7,478 residential units across the SAR. The units are expected to be completed between January 2001 and June 2003.

In addition, there were six applications for pre-sale consent concerning commercial developments on Hong Kong Island and in Kowloon.

There was also one application for consent to assign involving a residential project with 583 units in West Kowloon Reclamation area.
