Fifteen applications for pre-sale consents being processed

The Lands Department was processing 15 applications for pre-sale consents concerning residential and commercial developments last month (January).

At the end of January, there were 12 applications for pre-sale consents involving a total of 4,666 residential units throughout the territory. The residential units are expected to be completed between March 2000 and September 2001.

In addition, there were three applications for pre-sale consents concerning commercial developments in various districts.

At the end of last month, two applications for consents to assign were being processed for two residential projects involving 2,098 units in Sai Kung and on Tsing Yi Island.

The Lands Department did not issue any pre-sale consents last month.
